Starting Lineup

Drivers to the Rear

  • Joey Logano (Steering)
  • Noah Gragson (Adjustments)

Ones to Watch

  • Denny Hamlin: Hamlin has been the most consistently fast driver at Kansas, even before the Gen 7 car. He holds the record for most wins all-time at the track, most top 5s in the Next Gen era, and has been in contention for the win in nearly every Kansas race since 2019, he should be watched very closely. He starts 2nd.
  • Kyle Larson: Kansas is the exact track type that suits Kyle Larson the most. This is the venue of Larson’s most recent Cup Series win, and he not only has the most race wins at Kansas since the debut of the Gen 7 car, with 2, but also the most top 10s, laps led, and an average finish of 6.9. He should run up front all day and contend for the win. He starts P4
  • 23XI Racing: 23XI Racing dominated Saturday’s sessions, but on top of that, both Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick have already won at the track, both with the Gen 7 car. Reddick starts on pole and has been stellar on intermediates, while Bubba Wallace starts 10th and hasn’t been too far behind. Riley Herbst starts 22nd.
  • Chase Elliott: The most recent winner at the track, Kansas is arguably Elliott’s best 1.5-mile track. Though Saturday didn’t look great for Elliott, he’s still dangerous. He starts 13th.
Honorable Mentions:
  • Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe, Carson Hocevar, Chris Buescher, Ty Gibbs
