NASCAR ’25 released the official “first look” at its upcoming NASCAR console game, NASCAR ’25, alongside some reviews from notable influencers in the NASCAR community on Tuesday.

Kirwan, a 25-year-old veteran of NASCAR’s highest level of sim racing, posted that he had been given a chance to play the new console game and gave a solid review of its realism. In his post, he noted, “Honestly, could feel a lot of the @iRacing influence in the tracks and how the cars drove. I think everyone is going to enjoy it.”

NASCAR YouTuber Jaret Lundberg, better known by his screen name The Iceberg, also posted a video of himself testing out the game. Lundberg gave the game a positive review and said he “can’t wait for everyone to see what @iRacing has brought to the table.”

Following these posts, NASCAR and iRacing posted a series of in-game shots featuring all four series racing at different tracks. This “first look” was the first true picture of in-game action outside of iRacing’s Dev Diary YouTube series, and pictures were taken of drivers testing the game.

The screenshots include the ARCA Menards Series at what appears to be Watkins Glen International:

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Texas Motor Speedway:

The NASCAR Xfinity Series at Homestead-Miami Speedway:

The NASCAR Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway:

Though these are just screenshots, during the latest Dev Diary episode, Production Director Matt Lewis confirmed that iRacing will release an official gameplay trailer “about a month before” the game’s Xbox Series X/S and PS5 Oct. 14 release date.

When iRacing releases NASCAR ’25, it will be the first NASCAR multi-platform console game released since 2021’s NASCAR 21: Ignition, making it perhaps the most anticipated game in NASCAR history.
