What’s Happening?

Trackhouse Racing development driver and 2024 Rolex 24 Class Winner, Connor Zilisch, will drive the JR Motorsports No. 88 car in the Xfinity Series at Watkins Glen (September 14th), Kansas (September 28th), Homestead-Miami (October 26th), and Phoenix (November 9th). He is the third driver officially added to the #88 driver roster, joining Bubba Pollard (Richmond) and Carson Kvapil (Martinsville).

  • Connor Zilisch is 17 years old, and he signed a development deal with Trackhouse Racing in the off-season. His development deal includes racing in IMSA, the CARS Tour, Trans Am, and NASCAR. This Xfinity Series deal will be Zilisch’s NASCAR debut as of right now.
  • The JRM No. 88 car has taken on the role of the “All-Star Car” for most of the team’s history. While drivers like Brad Keselowski and Aric Almirola have competed full-time in the car, the No. 88 has been exclusively a part-time car since 2017. Miguel Paludo and Dale Earnhardt Jr. drove the car in 2023.
  • Fans are ecstatic about this new driver. Zilisch is one of the most exciting young prospects in stock car racing, and he will get a big opportunity with JRM.
