Official Accounts

For all of the official NASCAR news and highlights, it is best to follow these accounts. These accounts give most of the no-nonsense news and highlights from what happened in the race from the past weekend. They may include some opinion content from talking heads, but, it’s generally straight down the middle.
NASCAR, NASCAR on Fox, and NASCAR on NBC all fall into this category. These pages all include highlights from previous races plus news and updates from races as they are happening.
News
These are the people to follow if fans want to hear the news of the day. These individuals have inside knowledge and are usually the first to break major NASCAR news stories. While they may include some opinion in their content either on social media, publications, or podcasts, these personalities tend to focus on straight news.

— Bob Pockrass (@bobpockrass) April 8, 2024
Jeff Gluck, Jordan Bianchi, and Bob Pockrass are the best personalities to follow for straight news. Their content is typically focused on NASCAR as-is, and they provide an outside opinion on a lot of the hot topics in NASCAR. They also are at every race, meaning they get the best comments from drivers after the race.
The possibility of @StewartHaasRcng selling charters before 2025 has become a hot topic in the NASCAR garage in recent weeks, according to more than half a dozen industry executives familiar with the matter.

Adam Stern is also someone to watch out for regarding many of the business issues with NASCAR. For news topics like licensing deals and charter agreements, he’s a guy to watch out for. However, he’s not solely a NASCAR beat reporter, so, he’s not in tune with everything NASCAR-related.
Drivers
When it comes to drivers, you want to follow those whose posts are clearly not written by a PR person. Drivers who are not afraid to express their opinions and back them up through either interviews or podcasts are perfect to follow on social media. One caveat is that what these drivers say is often met with a heavy dose of bias, meaning that they are telling things mainly from a driver’s perspective. This often means that their opinions, while maybe correct, may also not tell the full story.
"If we do nothing, then shame on us. We deserve whatever is coming to us in the long term."💯

Denny Hamlin is perhaps the most outspoken driver in all of NASCAR, and he has the unique perspective of being a team owner as well. As a result, he can provide insight as both a driver and a team owner, and it’s also a good idea to follow Dirty Mo Media as well for Hamlin’s fast thoughts on his podcast “Actions Detrimental”. Carson Hocevar is another fun one to follow, but, he tends to be a bit more humorous with his posts.
I’m excited about today. Will @TeamHendrick have a storybook win on a historical night for the organization? Could rookie @joshberry shine again on a track he’s been very successful at? Who will be giving us some pissed off soundbites post-race? Does Cody finish the story? Does… https://t.co/7y3E1C030E
— Dale Earnhardt Jr. (@DaleJr) April 7, 2024
Dale Earnhardt Jr. is retired from full-time driving, but, he is a must-follow on social media as the owner of Dirty Mo Media. He offers honest opinions, and he is an advocate for many fan-favorite things including letting local short-track drivers drive for his Xfinity Series team. He’s more of a media personality than a driver now, but, he’s still viewed as a driver by many NASCAR fans.
Race Teams
Check out the article above for more details on the specific race teams, but, all of the vast majority of race teams have corresponding social media accounts. For the news and updates regarding a specific driver or team, follow any of those official pages.
As far as some of the best, RFK Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Trackhouse, and Richard Childress Racing are some of the best to follow. These feature many of the most prominent drivers in the sport, so, fans can enjoy some big name teams and drivers on these accounts. Aside from that, these accounts put out fun content that fans can always enjoy.
Content Creators

— Davey Segal (@DaveyCenter) April 8, 2024
Outside of that, there are also people like Davey Segal, who creates hilarious TikTok posts. He is also a host on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio, so, you may also hear him on NASCAR radio from time to time. There’s also Brock Beard with his LASTCAR blog along with being a two-time published author and YouTuber.
Each of these individuals provides more “New Media”-type content. While they may not have the same insider knowledge that people like the news reporters we mentioned above have, but, they do provide fun content to watch.
