What’s Happening?

Stage 60 has its’ newest driver. Cam Waters will make his NASCAR Cup Series debut for RFK Racing at Sonoma Raceway on June 9th. He’s the 3rd Supercars driver to try his hand at Cup Series racing in the last two seasons.

  • Cam Waters drives for Tickford Racing, a Ford team, in the Australian Supercars Championship. He’s a 10-time winner in the series with two runner-up points finishes. He made two NASCAR starts earlier this year in the Craftsman Truck Series for ThorSport.
  • RFK Racing announced Stage 60 earlier this year, and it is aimed at bringing motorsports talent from other series into NASCAR, similar to Trackhouse’s Project 91. Stage 60 debuted at the Daytona 500 with David Ragan, who finished 20th after leading 2 laps.
  • Fans are excited about this news, but, few are surprised. Many suggested Cam Waters after the tease RFK put out on Monday, and those fans were right.
