Stewart-Haas Racing Is Shutting Down

The rumors were true, and somehow, the reality is 1000 times worse than the thought. After years of success and occasionally dominating the sport, SHR is officially shutting down at the end of the year. The Iceberg is here to talk about everything happening at the season’s end.

• There are many reasons this could’ve happened, but with Kevin Harvick’s comments last week and both SHR owners having a vested interest in other racing series, it seems like their focus was pointed elsewhere. Why do you think SHR closed its doors?
• With a four-car team completely shutting down, many people will be looking for places to race next year. Where do you think the SHR drivers will end up?
• Fortunately, due to the charter system, SHR has a few million dollars in assets they could offload. Who do you think will get these charters at the end of the year?
