Following another round of green flag pitstops, calamity breaks loose again, collecting several big names.

What’s Happening

Following another round of green flag pit stops, another multi-car incident occurred which collected the likes of Ford driver, Chase Briscoe, Ryan Preece, and 2020 Daytona 500 Champ, Michael McDowell, not to mention Seven-Time himself, Jimmie Johnson.

The wreck occurred as leaders snaked around a lap car on the outside, bottling them up. The triggering point of the incident occured when the 2 of Austin Cendrick lifted, causing SHR drivers Almirola and Preece to get out of shape. After that, chaos ensued as two-time Daytona 500 Champ, Jimmie Johnson was tagged in the wreck.

  • The incident again took place after another round of green flag pit stops.
  • These green flag pitstops bunched up a very tight filed making it very easy for everything to break loose.
  • Kevin Harvick was also involved in the incident, likely putting an end to his hopes of willing in his final Daytona 500, to fan disappointment.
