Ryan Newman’s hiatus from NASCAR’s National Touring Series lasted only just over a year as he will return to National Touring Series competition for Rick Ware Racing. His first race will be at Darlington on May 12.
- Ryan Newman stopped competing in NASCAR full-time after the 2021 season. The man they call “Rocket Man” has a career best finish of 2nd in 2002 and was recently named to NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers list.
- Rick Ware has been filling out his rides with a myriad of drivers this season. The team has one top ten this season with Riley Herbst at the Daytona 500.
- Fans are excited to see Ryan Newman back in NASCAR competition.
