With Ryan Newman coming back to the Cup Series this weekend with Rick Ware Racing for Darlington throwback weekend, Rick Ware Racing decided to do something special. They are electing to use their throwback scheme to commemorate Ryan Newman’s first career win from 2002 at New Hampshire.
- Ryan Newman is entering his first Cup Series race since 2021 with Rick Ware Racing this weekend. Newman is also slated to run full-time in SRX this summer.
- Newman was also recently chosen to NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Driver’s list. Newman has 18 career wins and 51 career poles in the Cup Series. He also won the 2008 Daytona 500.
- Social media is excited to see Newman back, and in this throwback scheme in particular.
