What’s Happening?

RFK Racing has announced that Stage 60 fans won’t have to wait long for the next race. Road course ace Joey Hand will drive at the Chicago Street Race, Stage 60’s third appearance of the season.

  • Joey Hand is a Ford sports car veteran. He’s made hay in the GT categories, winning the 2012 American Le Mans Series Championship. He’s scored two victories in Rolex 24 at Daytona, overall in 2011 and the GTLM Class in 2017, and he won the GTE Pro Class at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. He has seven career NASCAR Cup Series starts, with a best finish of 20th at Sonoma in 2022.
  • RFK Racing’s Stage 60 debuted this season and functions as Ford’s version of Trackhouse’s “Project 91”. David Ragan raced in the Daytona 500 before Stage 60 returned at Sonoma with Australian Supercars star Cam Waters.
  • Fans are excited to see how Hand does. He’s raced in NASCAR before, but not in equipment as good as this.
