Petty Family Reveals 75th Anniversary Throwback Diecast

What’s Happening?

To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Petty Family, Thad Moffitt will run a special throwback paint scheme at Darlington Raceway on May 10th. The throwback paint scheme pays tribute to the STP 25th anniversary paint scheme Bobby Hamilton drove in 1996 for Petty Enterprises. Fans have the opportunity to get multiple Petty 75th Anniversary-themed prizes, including their name on the decklid at Darlington, on the Daily Downforce shop.

• 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of one of NASCAR’s most iconic families. The Pettys have accounted for 10 NASCAR Cup Series Championships and 262 driver wins across 3 generations.
• Thad Moffitt is the next generation of the Petty family in NASCAR. The grandson of Richard Petty, Moffitt is in his first full-time Truck Series season driving for the brand new Faction46 race team.
• Fans are excited to see Faction46 bringing out a Throwback scheme. Especially considering that it pays tribute to the Petty family.
