Everything You Need to Know About The New NASCAR Team
Eric sat down with Lane Moore, who co-owns the new Truck Series team: Faction46. Moore is a race fan, and he said he toyed with the idea of starting a team for a while. Now, he has his race team.
Faction46 is based out of Oklahoma. No other current NASCAR team is based in Oklahoma. Moore said that the 46 in Faction46’s name comes from Oklahoma being the 46th state.
The team will align with Niece Motorsports. Moore said in the press release about that team that Niece is building the cars for Faction46. He called the alliance “Instrumental” to getting Faction46 on the grid for 2024 in that release.
Moore said the driver will be announced later this week. The press release promised a “Powerful and dynamic driver”, and Moore told Eric that some fans may be surprised at who will drive the car.
Stay tuned for more information surrounding Faction46, and, as always, for Eric’s takes on NASCAR news.
