What’s Happening?

Another week means new diecast arrivals on lionelracing.com. Today, we walk through all of the new arrivals including representation from the late model ranks and a NASCAR Hall of Famer.

  • Lionel Racing is one of the premier NASCAR diecast retailers out there. Through either lionelracing.com or their physical locations, such as their store in Concord Mills, North Carolina.
  • This article will come out every week featuring the newest pre-orders available on Lionel. Any new diecast available will be included.
  • Fans love collecting diecasts, and this gives fans a good guide for what is available. These are the newest diecasts for fans.

Cup Series: Austin Dillon No. 3 Bass Pro Shops Throwback

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date: 11/30/24)

Austin Dillon will race a special gold paint scheme as a throwback. It’s unclear what exact era this throwback is for, but, it is reminiscent of many black and gold cars of the 1960s.

Cup Series: Kyle Larson No. 5 HendrickCars.com Throwback

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date 10/31/24)

Kyle Larson will throw it back to Terry Labonte’s No. 5 car from the 1990s. Labonte won the 1996 Cup Series Championship in the scheme, one of 4 consecutive Driver’s Championships for Hendrick Motorsports.

Cup Series: Corey LaJoe No. 7 Schluter Systems

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date 11/30/24)

Schluter Systems returns to Corey LaJoie and Spire Motorsports for 2024. His first 2024 race with the sponsor was in Texas, where he finished 22nd.

Cup Series: Noah Gragson No. 10 MillerTech

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date: 11/30/24)

Noah Gragson brings a new sponsor with him to Dover, MillerTech. As of right now, Dover is the only race Gragson will use this scheme.

Cup Series: Daniel Hemric No. 31 Cirkul

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date: 11/30/24)

Daniel Hemric brought Cirkul with him from the Xfinity Series into the Cup Series for 2024. Hemric recorded his first top-10 of the season in the paint scheme at Talladega, finishing 9th.

Cup Series: Ryan Preece No. 41 Morton Buildings

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date: 12/31/24)

Morton Buildings adorns Ryan Preece’s car at Dover. They also sponsored Preece at Nashville in 2023, where Preece finished 16th.

Cup Series: Erik Jones No. 43 STP

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date: 11/30/24)

Legacy Motor Club will run a special throwback scheme at Dover to honor the 75th Anniversary of the Petty Family in NASCAR. While originally Erik Jones’ ride, Corey Heim will substitute for Jones as he recovers from a back injury.

Cup Series: Tyler Reddick No. 45 Jordan Brand Talladega Win

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date: 12/31/24)

Tyler Reddick took the Jordan Brand to victory lane at Talladega. It was the first time Michael Jordan was at the track for his team’s win.

Cup Series: Jimmie Johnson No. 84 Family Dollar/Dollar Tree

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date: 11/30/24)

Jimmie Johnson will have both Dollar Tree and Family Dollar on the car at Dover. This is part of a 38-race sponsorship between Legacy Motor Club and the sponsor.

Xfinity Series: Jesse Love No. 2 WAT Talladega Win

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date: 12/31/24)

Jesse Love’s first career Xfinity Series win came at Talladega with WAT and Whelen on the car. It was the first win for the No. 2 car in the series since Myatt Snider in 2021.

Xfinity Series: Akinori Ogata No. 35 Moon Eyes

Availability: Pre-Order (Estimated Ship Date: 11/30/24)

Akinori Ogata is bringing Moon Eyes on board for his Xfinity Series start for Joey Gase Motorsports at Las Vegas this fall. He has one start this season so far, a 38th-place finish at Martinsville.

Late Models: Brenden ‘ButterBean’ Queen No. 03 Best Repair/LeithCars.com

Brenden “ButterBean” Queen is one of the most popular late-model drivers today. This No. 03 car is his typical late-model paint scheme.
