NASCAR Iowa Race Review & Analysis

This NASCAR Cup Series race from Iowa was heavily scrutinized before the cars even got on the track but as soon as they did, we all realized how wrong we were. Eric Estepp from Out Of The Groove is here to break down everything that happened in the inaugural race at Iowa Speedway.

• Ryan Blaney was the winner at Iowa, but this was due to a very risky strategy call by his crew chief to take two tires and increase their track position. Is this the best call we’ve seen all year?
• Daniel Suarez clipped Kyle Larson‘s left rear on the front stretch and sent him into the wall, but this situation was started by Kyle Larson attempting to go three wide. Who do you think was in the wrong in this situation?
• The NASCAR short tracks haven’t really delivered in this Next Gen era, and to be fair, most people didn’t think that the race at Iowa Speedway would deliver, but a lot of people were very surprised. What rating would you give this race on Lectric Groovy Gauge?
