What’s Happening?
Spire Motorsports co-owner Jeff Dickerson may have poked the bear with his latest comments on the Gluckcast, drawing a sharp response from Denny Hamlin amid the ongoing lawsuit involving Joe Gibbs Racing and Chris Gabehart. With the sport only recently moving past the legal clash between NASCAR and 23XI Racing/Front Row Motorsports, Hamlin’s reaction has quickly created another viral moment among fans.
Yeah, okay buddy. You hired someone who stole tens of millions worth of information, lied about communications y’all had after you deleted them and now is getting paid double to work on your truck program? GTFO.

What was it you called Richard again?
Was it you who was leaking…
What began as a lawsuit from JGR has turned into a public exchange after Denny Hamlin’s late-night social media response to Spire Motorsports co-owner Jeff Dickerson.
His comments targeting Spire and its leadership spread quickly, drawing strong reactions and exposing a clear rift among fans over how they view the situation.
For many, the JGR veteran’s reaction didn’t come as a surprise; after all, he’s one of the most outspoken drivers in NASCAR today.
Denny Hamlin Fires Back at Spire Owner’s Viral Interview
What’s Happening? Joe Gibbs Racing driver and 23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin went after Spire Motorsports co-owner Jeff Dickerson following a…
While a large section of the fanbase backed him, arguing that if the allegations from JGR are even partially true, then his anger is justified, there’s a noticeable group of fans pushing back.
For the latter group, JGR’s lawsuit, which centers on what Hamlin deemed “tens of millions worth of information,” is nonsense. Some users pointed to the obvious question: if that were true, you’d see an immediate, noticeable jump in performance, and no team has shown that kind of leap, except maybe Hamlin’s team, 23XI Racing.
Tens of millions of dollars of information. Bullshit. That much information would make an immediate change for a team. No team has showed that much change other than your 23XL team. Hocevar won a speedway, no shock there. Just drive the car Hamlin.

Meanwhile, some felt like Hamlin’s public outburst crossed a line, especially with the case still ongoing. Their argument is simple: if the matter is in court, let the evidence speak there.
A simple question Denny, where is the proof? Remember awful things were said by others about you during the lawsuit. I am a fan of yours but I think your reaction is a bit too much.

Then there’s a quieter sentiment of fatigue. A portion of the NASCAR audience is less concerned about who’s right or wrong and more frustrated that the focus has shifted away from racing.
The involvement of Spire as a co-defendant and Gabehart’s move into a limited role at the Chevrolet team only adds to the tension. Not to mention Dickerson’s public defense of his organization and his warning toward JGR, effectively ensured this wouldn’t stay behind closed doors.

Even a popular fan voice in the online NASCAR community, BrakeHard, responded to Hamlin’s post, challenging JGR’s notion, if “tens of millions” translates to “ten thousand races.” Hamlin, however, dismissed it with a not-so-subtle jab.
You’re an idiot.

On the other hand, the JGR army sought to lay cover fire for Hamlin. Many expressed their admiration towards the 45-year-old despite the names embroiled in the conflict, including the latter’s long-time crew chief, Gabehart.
This is what @dennyhamlin will always be my favorite driver! Don't hold back man. Tell us how you really feel. You're the only one that does. Every other personality in racing seems like they are on the corporate payroll. Right or wrong or indifferent. Absolutely love the…
