What’s Happening?

NASCAR has denied a monumental schedule leak from NASCAR Latino Sunday Morning. This leak is notable, as this schedule may be the most anticipated schedule since 2021.

  • Many, including Adam Stern of The Athletic, could screenshot the post before NASCAR Latino deleted it. NASCAR Latino is used to communicate with NASCAR’s Spanish-speaking fanbase—the notable addition of a race in Mexico City’s Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez seemed to be the post’s primary purpose.
  • The race in Mexico City shocked few, as it was expected news. NASCAR denied that the dates on the schedule were accurate. However, many dates seem to align with rumors, including Mexico City replacing Richmond’s spring race, a revamped Playoff schedule, and Iowa’s new race date.
  • Less talked about and notable dates included COTA moving to the third race of the year and Sonoma moving to July 13, as Mexico City is listed as June 8, the date currently held by Sonoma. Stern reports that NASCAR says the schedule is “not entirely accurate.” The schedule could be inaccurate because the much-rumored Montreal race is not on the schedule.

NASCAR has not released an official schedule; however, many expect NASCAR to do so within the next few weeks.
