- Dye made his NASCAR Cup Series debut at Talladega Superspeedway in April as part of a four-race deal with LFM. That deal will now expand to five races with Dye adding a start at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July.
- The 22-year-old has two career starts at IMS, both with Kaulig Racing’s NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series team during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. In those two starts, Dye scored top ten finishes, with a best of seventh in his first start at the track.
- Per a post to his website, Dye will also make six more NASCAR OAP Series starts this season, though the team with which he plans to do so is currently unknown. Dye previously raced in three OAP Series races this season with the now-defunct AM Racing.
- The Florida native was initially set to race full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Kaulig Racing this season as part of Ram Truck’s return to the sport. But, after a controversial online video circulated just a few races into the season, Dye was indefinitely suspended and left the team after NASCAR lifted his suspension.
- Dye returned to NASCAR in the Cup Series, finishing 24th in his debut at Talladega, and will follow that up with a start this weekend at Pocono, as well as races at Daytona and Talladega this fall. He also returned to the Truck Series at Nashville and Michigan, racing with McAnally–Hilgemann Racing in their No. 20 entry.
