What is Arcade Rush?

A brand new, arcade-style NASCAR video game is coming to consoles on September 15th. It will be published by GameMill Entertainment and developed by Team6 Game Studios. Per the June 20th NASCAR Press Release, the game will be available on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

The game will feature unique versions of licensed NASCAR tracks. These tracks include Daytona International Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Darlington Raceway, and Martinsville Speedway.

The game features different cars from different eras throughout the 75 years of stock car racing history. Customization options are included in the game as well, from car pieces to driver cosmetics.

The game will also feature single-player and both local and online multiplayer modes. The single-player modes are Quick Race, Career, and Time Attack, while multiplayer will feature both local split-screen and online multiplayer for up to 12 players.

While the base game will be $49.99, players can choose to buy the NASCAR Project-X Bundle for $59.99 which features some playable customization options for the car in the game.

The Team Behind Arcade Rush

GameMill Entertainment has released multiple different franchises of video games before. These range from Nickelodeon Kart Racer to the Little League World Series 2022 to Big Hero 6 Battle in the Bay.

However, major racing series have partnered with GameMill as well. Monster Jam Crush It! was released in 2017, and, most recently, NHRA partnered with GameMill for NHRA Speed for All in 2022. Both of those games were developed by Team6 as well.

Team6 is based out of the Netherlands, and they were founded in 2001. They have partnered with GameMill as well on games such as Street Outlaws: The List and Street Outlaws 2: Winner Takes All.

NASCAR Arcade Rush releases on September 15th at all major retailers, with the base price being $49.99.
