- Stephen Hood, former President of Motorsport Games, has been named the new CEO after Dmitry Kozko stepped down. He served as President from 2019-2022, but left the company due to “different philosophies regarding the state of the company”. He has returned a year later in his newly appointed role.
- Motorsport Games is the license holder for NASCAR video games, but recent issues being blamed on the war in Ukraine among other things, has caused a new release of the video game series to be delayed severely. The last release was NASCAR 21: Ignition in October of 2021.
- Fans have been extremely upset with the issues surrounding the delays, calling for NASCAR to attempt to sever ties with Motorsport Games and find a new developer. There is no telling how this changing of the guard will affect the production of a new release.

This news is just the continuation of an already long and turbulent list of issues presented by Motorsport Games. Will the change in CEO bring the change needed, or should NASCAR still attempt to move on from them and pursue a new developer for the video game series? One thing is for certain, fans are eager for a coat of fresh paint in the NASCAR video game lineup, the question is, how long do they have to wait for it?
