What’s Happening?

Veteran broadcaster Mark Garrow of the Performance Racing Network is set to retire at the conclusion of the 2025 season.

  • Garrow announced his impending retirement on Facebook on Thursday ahead of PRN’s upcoming broadcast of this weekend’s Mobil 1 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
  • Beyond his broadcasting duties, Garrow is a 40-year veteran of the industry, having worked in many different roles. However, most fans likely know him for his work in the booth for Speedway Motorsports’ PRN as an anchor and as a host of the network’s Garage Pass show.
  • With his retirement, Garrow’s last broadcast will likely be the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 19, as PRN, which is the final PRN broadcast of the season. Including last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, this weekend’s race at NHMS, PRN has a total of four NASCAR Playoff race broadcasts.
  • Throughout the last two seasons, PRN has seen a number of changes to its broadcast lineup. Last season, long-time lead anchor Doug Rice retired from his duties, and just last week at BMS, turn announcer Rob Albright also retired.
