What’s Happening?

The lawsuit between Kyle Busch Motorsports and Rev Racing appears to be over with. Bob Pockrass reports that KBM dropped the lawsuit, meaning there was probably an out-of-court settlement.

  • KBM and Rev Racing were involved in a technical alliance in 2023. Rev Racing is the “Competition arm” of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program, and they partnered with KBM before Spire Motorsports bought them out. Now, Rev and Spire are aligned.
  • According to the Charlotte Business Journal, the original lawsuit was for a reported $325,000. That figure centered around one incomplete and. one missed payment, but it seems the lawsuit has now been settled.
  • Fans are happy to see the lawsuit has been seemingly settled. Lawsuits are ugly, and they can distract from the task at hand.
