What’s Happening?

Kaulig Racing has signed NASCAR Cup Series veteran Corey LaJoie to drive its No. 10 Mopar Ram for the remainder of the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, following the exit of driver Daniel Dye.

  • LaJoie, who Kaulig initially entered to drive the No. 25 Free Agent Truck this weekend at Rockingham Speedway, will shift to the No. 10 team immediately. In his place, Kaulig Cup Series driver Ty Dillon will drive the No. 25, his second start in the truck this season.
  • Truck Series veteran Daniel Dye was initially slated to race full-time with Kaulig in the No. 10 this season. However, following the resurfacing of a controversial live-stream clip, Dye was suspended on March 17 by the team and NASCAR for violating the NASCAR rule book’s policy on disparaging comments.
  • In his place for that weekend’s race at Darlington, Kaulig tapped A.J. Allmendinger, who led the charge for the Rams at the track. However, following Dye’s March 31 reinstatement by NASCAR, the driver will not return to Kaulig Racing, something the team has called a resignation as opposed to a firing.
  • This race will mark the third of Lajoie’s 2026 season, with the drive only missing the second and third races of the season after starting with Henderson Motorsports and Kaulig in races one and four. In 16 career Truck Series starts, LaJoie has three top fives and eight top tens.
