In 2026, Kaulig will field five trucks for Ram, which officially left NASCAR after the 2012 season and is returning in the coming season. All five trucks will be full-time and, as of press time, field at least three full-time drivers.
Those three full-time drivers announced for the Kaulig truck program are Daniel Dye, Brenden ‘Butterbean’ Queen, and Justin Haley. Those drivers will pilot the No. 10 (Dye), the No. 12 (Queen), and the No. 16 (Haley).
But the final two trucks, the No. 14 and No. 25, are a bit of a mystery to NASCAR fans.
On November 17, Kaulig announced that the team will field the No. 25 truck under the “Free Agent Driver Program,” which they claim will target drivers “from different racing disciplines to compete throughout the season.”
However, the driver and plans for the No. 14 truck are officially still unknown, though it might be the worst-kept secret in NASCAR. Rumors suggest that this truck could go to the winner or winners of a reality TV show that has already wrapped filming.
This shows competitors were rumored to be stars of Grassroots racing who were competing in racing-related game-show tasks for a chance to compete with the Ram team in 2026. However, it is unknown if this will be a part-time or full-time driver.
Many expect UFC President and CEO Dana White to be involved, something hinted at by his wearing a Kaulig Racing shirt during face-offs for UFC 322.
