After months of rumors, Matt Weaver now reports that Josh Berry will be officially announced as Kevin Harvick’s replacement at Stewart-Haas Racing on Wednesday. Weaver also reports that Berry has signed with KHI-Management, an agency owned by Harvick.

- Josh Berry currently runs in the Xfinity Series full-time for JR Motorsports, and he has five career wins. Kevin Harvick is retiring at the end of this Cup Series season to move to the FOX Sports booth for 2024.
- Berry has been rumored as a potential replacement for the majority of the season. The rumors gained steam when Berry impressed in fill-in duty at Hendrick Motorsports recording three top-10 finishes in eight races.
- On social media, people were not particularly surprised by the move. People are excited, but others are more cautious due to recent performance of Stewart-Haas Racing

Sounds like it could be a berry big deal, if recent rumors are true.
It’s still not official yet, but it seems that the pieces are starting to fall into place. Berry would be an interesting addition to Stewart-Haas Racing, but success will likely not come easy.
