Sam Hunt Racing officially announced on Tuesday that Jeffrey Earnhardt would be driving for the team part-time in 2024. ForeverLawn will sponsor Earnhardt’s efforts in the 26 car, with Atlanta on February 24th being his first race.
Jeffrey Earnhardt will drive select Xfinity races for Sam Hunt Racing in No. 26 car. ForeverLawn will sponsor. Total number of races TBA. First race will be Atlanta next month.
Jeffrey Earnhardt moved to SHR from Alpha Prime, where he ran 24 races in 2023. Earnhardt has a previous relationship with the team as he ran 9 races for them in 2022 with a best finish of 7th at Nashville.
Earnhardt is the second driver to announce a part-time ride with the team. Corey Heim will race for the team part-time in 2024 as well. However, the team is still without a full-time driver after the departure of Kaz Grala.
Fans are excited to see what Earnhardt can do in 2024. Having a famous last name, there are plenty of people out there who root for him.
