Following a shocking announcement by iRacing, the team working on the new NASCAR console game, NASCAR ’25, is calling on NASCAR teams to participate in it.
Monday, iRacing announced that NASCAR ’25 will feature not just the Cup Series but all three NASCAR National Series. They also announced that the ARCA Menards Series will make its NASCAR gaming debut.
The addition of ARCA is a milestone in NASCAR gaming and a major part of the game’s in-depth career mode. According to iRacing, drivers will start their career in ARCA, operating out of a “backyard garage” and work their way to the top of NASCAR.
Fans of NASCAR should expect to see the typical NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series teams involved in the game. However, the lower you go in NASCAR, the more part-time or small teams you see.

To fix the potential problems created by these smaller teams, iRacing Executive Vice President Steve Myers is asking teams to contact the iRacing team and meet with them at Daytona, where all four series will be in action next month.
This personal action by Myers looks like it will be the standard for iRacing as NASCAR’s console game publisher. Unlike past developers, the iRacing team seems to be making connections with the NASCAR industry.
In the past, publishers have filled out fields in the lower series by making up fantasy drivers. While iRacing may still have to do this, they are putting their best foot forward to add and promote as many NASCAR and ARCA teams as possible.
Shortly after posting this on his X account, Myers confirmed that six teams have already contacted him about their addition to the game.
