NASCAR heads to Sonoma this weekend for a doubleheader weekend with the Cup Series and the Xfinity Series. It is the Xfinity Series’ first race ever in “Wine Country.” With both series heading into an off-weekend, and the Playoff picture continuing to develop, how can you keep up with the action this weekend?

Xfinity Series: DoorDash 250

What to Watch for: The Xfinity Series entry list for Sonoma is star studded with Cup Series drivers Ty Dillon, Daniel Suarez, AJ Allmendinger, Kyle Larson, Ty Gibbs, Ross Chastain, and Aric Almirola. As far as the Playoff field goes, Cole Custer became the seventh different winner last weekend solidifying his Playoff eligibility. The points bubble features Sam Mayer (+34), Riley Herbst (+27), Daniel Hemric (+14), Brandon Jones (-14), and Parker Kligerman (-26) all within 40 points of the cut-line.

Cup Series: Toyota/Save Mart 350

When: Sunday, June 11, 3:30 PM ET

Where to Watch: Fox or on the Fox Sports App

Where to Listen: Sirius XM NASCAR Radio OR on your local PRN Affiliate (Find your local PRN affiliate here)

What to Watch For: Only one road course ringer is on the entry list this weekend with Andy Lally driving the 15 car for Rick Ware Racing. The Playoff standings were shook up some last weekend with Ryan Blaney taking over the regular season points lead by 13 points over William Byron. The bubble currently consists of Bubba Wallace (+27), Daniel Suarez (+6), Alex Bowman (-6), Ty Gibbs (-15), Austin Cindric (-33), Michael McDowell (-35), and Corey LaJoie (-39) all within 40 points of the cut-line.

This weekend should be an interesting one at Sonoma with it being a race track that has had its’ share of surprise winners. This is a weekend that could shake up the Playoff field in both series competing this weekend.
