What’s Happening?

After a year racing abroad, racing open-wheel cars in the INDYNXT Series, former three-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Most Popular Driver Award winner Hailie Deegan is back racing stock cars in 2026 for a full-time schedule in the ARCA Menards Series West.

  • Deegan announced in January that she will race full-time with Bill McAnally Racing in the ARCA Menards Series West during the 2026 season. Alongside this effort, Deegan claimed in a Facebook post that she will make occasional starts with McAnally–Hilgemann Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
  • The 2026 ARCA Menards Series West season will mark Deegan’s first back in NASCAR after having raced full-time in the Indy NXT Series with HMD Motorsports. During her time racing in open wheel, Deegan finished no better than 11th, scoring a 16.0 average finish and a 14th-place points finish.
  • Prior to this effort in 2025, Deegan was a standout in the ARCA Menards Series West’s predecessor, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. After scoring three wins with BMR in 2018 and 2019, Deegan moved to full-time NASCAR National Series action, first in the Truck Series from 2021 to 2023, before moving to the Xfinity Series in 2024, ultimately losing her ride partway through the season.
