Hailie Deegan will have a new crew chief in 2024. AM Racing announced that Joe Williams will be the crew chief for Hailie Deegan’s #15 car in 2024. It will not be the duos first time working together, however.
Joe Willaims is a veteran NASCAR crew chief. He has been the crew chief for 91 Cup Series races and 133 Xfinity Series races. He has one win in the Xfinity Series with Cole Custer at Auto Club Speedway in 2022. Williams spent 2023 with Brett Moffitt at AM Racing.
Willaims and Deegan have worked together once before. At Las Vegas in 2022, Deegan drove the 07 car to a 13th-place finish, with Williams as the crew chief.
Hailie Deegan is a driver under a microscope in 2024. Many fans are curious to see if she can finally break through after an underwhelming run in the Truck Series.
