Garage Jams Shows What’s On Your Favorite Driver’s Playlist
Chase, co-host of The Garage Guys podcast, has provided some insight into NASCAR drivers favorite music. Through “Garage Jams,” he has worked directly with the drivers to compile their favorite songs into an easy to access Spotify playlist. He’s up to 12 drivers so far, and the list just keeps on growing.
Here is some insight into the favorite music of different NASCAR drivers.
Corey LaJoie
Corey LaJoie’s taste is definitely very eclectic. There are plenty of country artists such as Jason Aldean and Brooks and Dunn, and also a fair share of classic rock such as Bob Segar and Joe Walsh. He even threw a rap artist in there with an NF song as well.
Rajah Caruth
Rajah Caruth features a lot of rap artists on this playlist from artists such as Rod Wave and Polo G. He also features a fair amount from country artist Luke Combs and even features a couple of songs from the Avengers: Endgame soundtrack.
Brad Perez
By my best guess, Brad Perez does not feature the same artist twice on this playlist. There is a fair amount of electronic and rap music in this piece from a lot of what some would say obscure artists. Perez seems like he likes to dig for his music, and I honestly have to respect that.
Chris Hacker
Chris Hacker has a fair amount of rap on his playlist with artists such as DaBaby, Kodak Black, and BONES. However, Hacker does slip in a country song with Luke Combs and there is even My Chemical Romance on there as well. An interesting combination.
Anthony Alfredo
Anthony Alfredo is a pretty big hard rock/metal fan based on this playlist. Artists such as P.O.D., Ozzy Osbourne, and Rage Against the Machine amongst others. Alfredo also features a song from Linkin Park as well.
Ryan Vargas
Ryan Vargas has a pretty varied music taste. Rappers such as Trippie Redd and Ben Reilly are on his playlist, but there is also the indie/alternative artist 100 gecs and rock artist New Found Glory. Overall, it’s a varied playlist with lots of different artists.
Mark Martin
NASCAR Hall of Famer Mark Martin is up next, and he has a clear favorite artist. With four out of the 10 songs on the playlist, Gucci Mane is the artist who takes up the most space on Martin’s playlist. There is also country artist Hank Williams Jr., AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Project Pat, and Eminem.
Chase Briscoe
For Chase Briscoe, it is a large amount of heavy metal music with Mötley Crüe taking up more space than any other artist on the playlist. There are also artists such as AC/DC, Big & Rich, Garth Brooks, Kanye West, and Nickelback amongst others. Quite the interesting selection for Briscoe.
Ryan Truex
Ryan Truex features few repeats on his playlist. The only artist to be repeated is Matt Miller, and aside from Miller, it is mainly hard rock/metal with some rap mixed in.
Ryan Preece
Ryan Preece’s playlist is pretty much exclusively filled with rap. The most popular artists on this playlist are Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Machine Gun Kelly.
Stefan Parsons
Stefan Parsons features mostly hard rock and metal with a little bit of rap mixed in as well. This playlist features artists such as Post Malone, Mac Miller, J. Cole, Deftones, and Radiohead.
An interesting insight into who these drivers are aside from being race car drivers. It’s interesting to see what types of music these drivers are often listening to at or off the race track. More Garage Jams is coming from the Garage Guys soon.
