No one in the NASCAR Cup Series garage has spent more time under the NASCAR Silly Season microscope in recent weeks than Front Row Motorsports driver Noah Gragson.
While Gragson is only partway through his second year with the team, rumors have followed him since May that his time with the team could soon be coming to an end.
These rumors have only increased in recent weeks thanks to the Craftsman Truck Series dominance of FRM prospect Layne Riggs, who is in his third season as a prospect with the team.
Riggs has recently stated that there is a possibility of him racing in the Cup Series next season, and Gragson has publicly stated that he is racing for a job next season.

Still, on FRM’s end, there has been little discussion in public and near radio silence about Noah’s potential 2027 exit.
Those discussions mostly came to an end Tuesday, when FRM General Manager Jerry Freeze told Sirius XM NASCAR Radio that the team is working on a deal for Noah to return next season.
Freeze flat out said “we want Noah,” then added that the team is having out the “last details” of a new agreement.
“We want Noah, uh, back at Front Row, and I feel pretty good about it. We’re working through, kind of the last details in his agreement. So, I feel pretty good about it, I’d look for something out of us in a few weeks on that” — Jerry Freeze
The veteran industry member noted that despite the rumors of Noah’s potential exit and his ongoing struggles with the team, his resume in the sport speaks for itself.
“This year we’re just lacking a little bit of speed,” Freeze said. “So, there’s always pieces of the puzzle that has just all gotta mesh and come together and we believe in Noah and look for him to be at Front Row for the foreseeable future.”
As most fans know, deals in NASCAR can fall apart just as fast as they come together. Still, fans in the online community took this as a guarantee that Gragson is returning to the team next season.
Of course, this mostly fills out the 2027 Cup Series roster at FRM, with Todd Gilliland signing an extension last week and Zane Smith doing so last fall.
