What’s Happening?

Actor and driver Frankie Muniz is going full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2025. The driver announced his signing with Reaume Brothers Racing on Fox and Friends on Tuesday morning. He will drive the No. 33.

  • Frankie Muniz began racing in NASCAR in 2023 in the ARCA Menards Series. In that 20-race season, Muniz had one top five and 11 top tens. However, this season, Muniz was less consistent.
  • In 2024, he’s made starts in ARCA, Trucks, and the Xfinity Series. All of these were with Ford, notably with Reaume Brothers Racing in the Trucks and ARCA.
  • Prior to his racing career, Muniz was known for his acting credits, including being the star of the TV show Malcolm in the Middle. However, when he started racing last season, it was no shock, as he is a longtime racing fan.
  • His skill last year impressed fans as he seemed to adapt to his ARCA ride relatively quickly. While this jump to the Trucks is early, it is not deserved as Muniz has worked hard to take his racing career seriously.
  • Muniz has two more races this season with Reaume Brothers. This weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Saturday at Noon EST on FS1. His final start of 2024 will be at the Truck Series finale at Phoniex on Nov. 8 at 8:00 PM ET on FS1.
