Brodie Kostecki will race in the Cup Series for Richard Childress.

What’s Happening

Earlier today, Australian Supercars star Brodie Kostecki announced he will be entering in the Cup Series event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. He will drive the number 33 car prepared by Richard Childress Racing.

  • Brodie Kostecki is a two-time winner in the Australian Supercars Championship. He currently sits second in the series standings, two spots above Chicago Street Course winner Shane Van Gisbergen.
  • Kostecki joined SVG as the second Supercars driver to run in NASCAR this year. He hopes to join Marcos Ambrose and SVG as the two drivers to win in the NASCAR Cup Series. Kostecki does have 16 races of experience in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series.
  • Fans are excited to see what Kostecki can do in a Cup Series car.
