- McLeod will drive the No. 92 for DGM, a car typically driven by Josh Williams. Unfortunately, Williams, who returned to full-time action at DGM this season, was ousted from his ride last week.
- Per DGM, issues with sponsorship led to Williams being pulled from last weekend’s race at Watkins Glen, though the team says it is committed to getting Williams back in the car. In his place, DGM brought in Alex Guenette to drive the No. 92, with Guenette bringing home the car in 28th.
- This race will mark McLeod’s first NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series start since the 2024 race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Prior to this start at Dover, McLeod has 12 career OAP Series starts at the track, scoring a 25.9 average finish, and a best of 16th in 2019.
- McLeod, owner of NASCAR Cup Series team Live Fast Motorsports, has two NASCAR National Series starts to his name this season, both in the Cup Series. The first was the Daytona 500, then the following race at EchoPark Speedway, the 42-year-old finished a best of 35 in those two starts.
