Driver Announcements | Erik Jones Is Out

After a massive crash at Talladega, Eric Jones has a lower spinal fracture and he cannot race this week. In his place will be top Toyota prospect Cory Heim, also former Truck Series Champion, Brett Moffitt, and Truck Series prospect, Conner Mosak will be making their debut at Kansas Speedway. Brake Hard is here to give you updates on everything you need to know 

• Brett Moffitt had Cup Series potential before everything went wrong, now this is his opportunity to get back the hype that he once had. How do you think he will perform on Kansas weekend?
• After Erik Jones’s wreck, he was admitted to the infield care center, but then he was released and then returned on his own. Do you think adjustments need to be made to the Infield care center so that they can catch injuries like Erik Jones had earlier? What kind of improvements do they need to make?
• It seems like every Talladega race we find something that needs to improve with the cars. Do you think after this crash that Erik Jones had, Will NASCAR will make more improvements to the safety of the Gen 7 car?
