- Dye is signed to drive Live Fast’s No. 78 in four NASCAR Cup Series races in 2026. Following his entry in this weekend’s race, the 22-year-old will enter the summer race at Pocono, Daytona, as well as the fall race at Talladega.
- Despite his several seasons racing in the NASCAR National Series, Dye has yet to race in the NASCAR Cup Series. His resume includes 29 Truck Series starts and 48 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series starts since 2023.
- The Florida native started the season with Kaulig Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. However, following a controversial video online, Dye was suspended by NASCAR and Kaulig, and, upon his reinstatement, resigned from the team.
- He has since made a start in the ARCA Menards Series, finishing second this past weekend with Team SPS Racing at Kansas Speedway. Dye has also made three NASCAR OAP Series starts so far this year.
- The No. 78 team has just two starts this season, both with team owner B.J. McLeod behind the wheel. The team has finished no better than 35th in these two starts, both of which came on drafting tracks.
