What’s Happening?
Former Kaulig Racing driver Daniel Dye will return to stock car racing this weekend with his entry into the ARCA Menards Series race at Kansas Speedway.

Per the race’s preliminary entry list, Dye will make his first start since his exit from Kaulig Racing with SPS Racing.
The 22-year-old has one prior start this season with SPS, driving the No. 24 to a fourth-place finish at Daytona in the ARCA season opener.
Dye was initially slated to race full-time for Kaulig Racing’s new NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team with Ram; however, following a suspension, Dye resigned from the team.
His ousting from Kaulig began in March, when a video from a live stream on the platform Whatnot circulated. In the video, Dye mocked NTT IndyCar Series driver David Malukas with a voice Dye called a “David Malukas gay voice.”
Shortly after the video went viral, both NASCAR and Kaulig Racing suspended Dye. NASCAR reinstated the driver on March 31; however, he would not return to Kaulig.
Though most assumed it was Kaulig’s decision, the move was Dye’s resignation, something the team clarified in a statement that afternoon, before signing veteran Corey LaJoie to drive the No. 10 for the rest of 2026.
Dye is a former ARCA Menards Series winner, taking the 2021 race at Berlin, and in two career ARCA starts at Kansas, Dye has two top-fives, finishing a best of third in the 2022 race.
