What’s Happening?

On Wednesday, Sam Hunt Racing announced that Corey Heim would return to the team for 2024 on a part-time schedule. The full schedule will be announced at a later date, but, Heim will make his season debut at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 2nd. Heim started 4 races for SHR in 2023 with a best finish of 10th at Darlington in May.

Corey Heim adds Sam Hunt Racing to his schedule alongside his full-time Truck Series effort with TRICON Garage. Heim dominated the Craftsman Truck Series season in 2023, but he lost the Championship after getting spun by Carson Hocevar late in the Championship race at Phoenix.
Sam Hunt Racing is still without a full-time driver for 2024. Kaz Grala left the team in the offseason after starting the full season in the 26-car. It is unclear which car number Heim will drive.
Fans are excited to see what Heim can do with the team. He is an exciting prospect, and he should only get better.
