What’s Happening?

Multi-talented motorsports legend Travis Pastrana is set to return to NASCAR racing in 2026 with NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team Niece Motorsports.

  • As of press time, Pastrana is set to race in one event with Niece, the season opener at Daytona International Speedway. This effort will be in the team’s No. 41, a truck of which he is the first confirmed driver for the 2026 season.
  • This race marks Pastrana’s first NASCAR start since the 2023 Daytona 500, in which he finished 11th for 23XI Racing. Prior to that race, Pastrana had raced part-time in the Truck Series and full-time in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series with Roush-Fenway Racing in 2013.
  • In his four career starts at Daytona across the three NASCAR National Series, Pastrana has an average finish of 17th and a best finish of tenth in the 2013 NASCAR OAP Series season opener.
  • Though he has a solid record at the track, the Truck Series season opener is a stacked roster, including 11-time Daytona winner Tony Stewart and former Daytona 500 champion Rickey Stenhouse Jr.
