What’s Happening

iRacing is finally confirming that not only will the four highest levels of NASCAR be featured in NASCAR ’25, but that the next NASCAR console game will have an in-depth career mode. This announcement is the first new information on NASCAR ’25 since the release of October’s Developer Diary.

  • Fans have asked for an in-depth career mode, and iRacing is giving them one. As stated in iRacing’s press release, fans will start literally from the bottom and work their way to the top. “You’ll start in your backyard garage in the ARCA Menards Series and hone your skills to advance up the ranks.”
  • Fans have long waited for a confirmation of Trucks and Xfinity in the game. Most feel that NASCAR’s developmental ranks are a key aspect to the career mode experience. Steve Myers, an iRacing executive, hinted at Xfinity being in the game in October. However, he would not confirm the series’ inclusion.
  • The last time all three NASCAR National Series featured in a NASCAR console game was in 2020’s NASCAR HEAT 5. Most importantly, aside from a handful of unlockable drivers in the EA NASCAR games, ARCA has yet to be in a NASCAR game.
  • The press release also confirmed that three game modes—quick races, seasons, and online multiplayer—will be included in the game alongside a career mode.
  • NASCAR ’25 is set for a Fall 2025 release date; it will be the first Multiplatform NASCAR console game since NASCAR Rivals released in 2022.
