Motorsports fans look forward to the greatest day in motorsports all year, and this year was even extra special with Kyle Larson attempting the double. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the biggest disappointments of the year. Eric Estepp from Out Of The Groove is here to recap everything that happened during the Coca-Cola 600 weekend.
- In the past, we’ve seen races restart after rain delays way past midnight, but it seems like that will not be happening anymore in the current era of NASCAR. Do you think midnight is too late to restart a race?
- Often, during rain delays, NASCAR will delay the race until the next day unless more than 50% of the race has already been completed. Do you think NASCAR should’ve done something unprecedented and run the race the next day anyway, even though over 50% of the laps were completed?
- Even though the Indianapolis 500 and the Coke 600 were affected by the weather, they still gave us some great moments. What was your favorite moment from the weekend?
Should Larson get a playoff waiver? How many races this year will be affected by the weather? Let Eric know all of your thoughts and questions in the comment section. He always reads them all.
