After an insane NASCAR, Cup Series race in Talladega, Eric Estepp is here to break down the race results with his Talladega race review. Eric also talks about why this race was a huge moment for NASCAR and a huge failure for Ford. And in his opinion, on fuel mileage racing.
- Ford showed dominance all day today in Talladega but it’s been over 10 races in this new Dark Horse car and they still have yet to find Victory Lane. Do you think Ford can get their performance together by the midway point of the season?
- Toyota showed a lot of teamwork and strategy in today’s cup series race with Toyotas going to the pits on a green flag run to catch the rest of the pack off guard. Do you like that the superspeedways are now fuel mileage tracks? Does the excitement increase because of the strategy?
- When Toyota got the lead from their superior strategy, the race ended for many Toyotas because they couldn’t push each other as easily as Ford could. This led to a very big wreck involving the Toyotas. Do you think Toyota will work on their car over the off-season to improve this?
How did you enjoy today’s race? Do you like fuel mileage racing or should things change? Where did your driver end up finishing? Leave all of your questions and thoughts in the Out Of The Groove comment section, Eric does read them all.
