What’s Happening?

When NASCAR fans camp at a race track, they aren’t only limited to bargain options. For fans who want to splurge on a luxury camping experience, there are plenty of fun options out there. These are the best luxury camping experiences NASCAR has.

  • For this list, we will focus on the places NASCAR fans can go for the best amenities at the race track. This includes the best views of the track, hookups, and everything in between.
  • This allows fans to have a unique time camping at a track. They don’t have to make major compromises and can focus on having fun and having a luxury experience.
  • Fans who are willing to shell out some extra money will have a lot of fun with these experiences. Maybe they will do this if they want to splurge.

Burnout Alley: Texas Motor Speedway

Texas Motor Speedway tore down some of the backstretch grandstands and replaced it with a luxury RV experience. Fans can get full electric and water hookups, restrooms, and a concierge service at the sight. All of that combined with a great view of the race track.

The campers are perched on a hill on the backstretch allowing fans to watch all of the action from their camper. The only drawback is the inability to see Big Hoss, but, it’s still a great experience for someone who wants to add some luxury to their weekend.

Trackside Terrace: Atlanta Motor Speedway

Atlanta Motor Speedway made lemonade out of lemons when the backstretch grandstands were destroyed by a tornado in 2005. they came up with the Trackside Terrace, which provides panoramic views of the race track. They also add in 10 Trackside Terrace Admission passes for either a family or friend event.

Again, like Texas, the campground is where grandstands used to be. Another great luxury experience and this one comes at one of NASCAR’s most popular race tracks.

GEICO Grounds Yellow Premium: Daytona International Speedway

Daytona International Speedway is the premier race track in NASCAR. The best luxury campground is the GEICO Grounds Yellow Campground, featuring great views of turns 1 and 2, where a lot of action happens. The Premium Campground is where fans find the best amenities.

The campsites right on the inside of the turns feature some of the best amenities with electric hookups, while the 700 numbered sights in turn 2 have both electric and water hookups. The 700 campsites also overlook Lake Lloyd, meaning some solid views of the backstretch.

Finish Line Premium RV: Talladega Superspeedway

Imagine being on the inside of the track near the start/finish line. This typically does not happen at NASCAR tracks since pit road and the garage area often sit right behind the line, but, Talladega’s unique location means a unique campground. The Finish Line Premium RV is a Premium Experience just past the start/finish line.

This place includes hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, giving fans all of the comforts of home. Add to that a unique perspective to watch the race and one of the best views of the track from the infield.

600 Terrace: Charlotte Motor Speedway

Charlotte Motor Speedway also had an overlook similar to Texas and Atlanta, but, this one is in turns one and two. A unique place for a campground, but, a great one nonetheless. This place is so exclusive, that NASCAR Hard Cards do not get people into this area according to the track’s website.

The campground features full hookups and an incredible view of the track from a unique vantage point. The are also features pop-ups and seating areas that fans can take advantage of as well.

There are plenty of options out there for NASCAR fans looking for a unique experience at a race track. These luxury options ensure fans will have a great time.
