What’s Happening?

NASCAR’s three National Series return to the state of Tennessee for the second time in 2026, this time on the concrete of Nashville Superspeedway. So, whether you are going to be at the track or home, what does the forecast look like for the race weekend in Lebanon, Tennessee?

• Nashville Superspeedway, not to be confused with Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, is one of the newest additions to the NASCAR Cup Series schedule. The track, despite its name, is not actually a Superspeedway, and is instead a 1.330-mile oval.
• The track joined the NASCAR Cup Series schedule in 2021, following a lengthy period of inactivity. Prior to then, Nashville Superspeedway did have a staple position on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series schedules from 2001 to 2011.
• The track has some history with weather in the past few years, but still, this has never resulted in major cancellations.
