• For over 20 years, Kansas Speedway has served as the Great Plains home for NASCAR. The 1.5-mile track is known for its list of equally unlikely and legendary winners and exciting on-track action.
• Though all four National Series have had races at Kansas since 2001, the track did not gain its second NASCAR Cup Series date until 2011. While the Truck and Cup Series have hosted races twice a season in Kansas, the Xfinity Series has not done so in its 25-season racing in The Sunflower State.  
• While weather has factored into past races at Kansas Speedway, including a three-hour rain delay last season, the track’s shift of weather from fall to spring could be a factor in any given race at Kansas.
