What’s Happening?
It’s no secret that Ryan Blaney is a huge Star Wars fan. Even his Glass Case of Emotion podcast contains numerous references to the sensational sci-fi franchise all the way down to the logo design. Well, this week, Blaney appeared on the SiriusXM NASCAR Radio channel where they started to discuss his acting career. Interestingly enough, Blaney said that he actually enjoyed the process of making a movie, comparing the teamwork aspect of setting up even a single shot to how that of a NASCAR race shop functions. Blaney has made numerous appearances on television and in film. But there is one acting role that he wants more than anything: he wants to be in Star Wars.
I’ve tried so hard to be…like, man, I want to be in one of those Star Wars movies so bad. Like, make me a stormtrooper, put a helmet [on me]…you don’t even have to see my face. Kill me. You can kill me. That’s fine.
