NASCAR 25 Is Coming… but should you be excited yet? A handful of NASCAR drivers and media members just got their hands on an early version of NASCAR 25, and the first impressions are, on the surface, overwhelmingly positive. From Anthony Alfredo to Noah Gragson, most are singing the same tune: better physics, better sound, and real potential. But is it all genuine excitement or just good PR?

  • Anthony Alfredo says it’s “finally a new and exciting title” for NASCAR gamers. A bold claim after a decade of letdowns.
  • Noah Gragson calls it “the best NASCAR game in 10+ years,” which may not be saying much, but still raises eyebrows.
  • The audio apparently doesn’t sound like “a lawnmower” anymore, a clear jab at the Heat series’ infamous sound design.
  • A screenshot from Ty Majeski teases a weekend menu screen that matches what was promised during an earlier developer Q&A.

Despite the hype, gameplay footage remains absent, and we’re clearly being drip-fed info on purpose. The video’s narrator urges cautious optimism and reminds us: tweets and press clips don’t equal substance. We’ve seen NASCAR games overpromise before, and the community’s trust won’t be rebuilt overnight. So the question remains: Are you buying the hype? Or are you waiting for real gameplay to make your judgment?
