NASCAR will start a new 7-year media rights broadcasting contract in 2025, and part of that deal is the last 14 races of the year being on the NBC Sports lineup of channels. A majority of these are going to be on the USA Network. With that, though, troubling signs are coming from Comcast about the future of many of their cable networks, which include the USA Network being in a spinoff from the main company. While the near future in 2025 looks set, the years to come could be clouded more by this and other troubles with cable overall. Is NASCAR having NBC TV problems? USA Network spinoff?
