What’s Happening?

Ahead of a change-filled 2025 season, NASCAR officially released its 2025 TV Schedule and where to watch on Wednesday. Let’s break it down.

  • The 2025 TV schedule is the first featuring NASCAR’s new broadcast partners, Amazon Prime and TNT. TNT is returning to NASCAR after a ten-year absence, and Prime is taking on NASCAR for the first time.
  • Fans are nervous about the difficulty of planning and watching this race as it has races on cable, network TV, and streaming for the first time. In fact, to watch all the NASCAR action in 2025, you need Amazon Prime and Max, Warner Brothers Discovery’s streaming service.
  • Fox will have Cup Series practice and qualifying for the Clash, Daytona 500, and the All-Star race. However, for the first half of the season, practice and qualifying will be on Amazon Prime, and for the second half, it will be on truTV and Max.
  • NASCAR and the CW, the new exclusive home of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, have already released start times after the official schedule was released.

Breaking Down the Channels:

  • Five races on Fox
  • Five races on Prime
  • Five races on TNT
  • Four races on NBC
  • Ten races on FS1 (3 non points races)
  • Ten races on USA

Quick Hits:
  • In 2025, five races will be exclusive to streaming, the most important of which is the Coca-Cola 600 and NASCAR’s debut in Mexico City.
  • Second, there will be just nine races on network or “free” TV in 2025, down drastically from the 21 combined events in 2025.
  • Finally, NBC has just four races, reducing the playoffs to three from five in 2024.
