Steve Lauletta, president of 23XI, tells SiriusXM that expansion is “definitely part of what the plans for 23XI [is] – to continue to grow and continue to bring great partners into this sport.” He says “it may not be 2024, may be 2025 or beyond,” depending on when the team could put all of the pieces together – charter being the key piece of the puzzle.
What You Need to Know:
- In an interview with Dave Moody, the president of 23XI did not mince words when he said the team intends to expand through charters in the future.
- Lauletta said it would have to be the right timing with the right driver available as well as being able to acquire a third (or more) charter.
- With 23XI bringing sponsor after sponsor to the 23 and the 45, the team believes in the revenue they are producing enough to expand their efforts.
Lauletta shared his thoughts on the opportunity with Dave Moody.
